EI Risk Consultants (EIRC) is a boutique environmental risk management consulting firm built on expertise gained through over 40 years of relevant experience. EIRC offers environmental and insurance risk management advice and services to mortgage lenders, bankers and brokers that originate commercial mortgage backed loans, to real estate investors and developers, to captives, and to a diverse array of businesses.

John Farinacci
John has had a long and distinguished career in risk management and insurance and offers a diverse background in property & casualty insurance, environmental insurance, risk management, engineering, finance, and captives.
Mr. Farinacci founded and ran an independent Risk Management services firm for over 15 years providing risk management consulting, environmental & occupational safety & health consulting, and property & casualty services to public entities, educational institutions and insurance companies.
John’s professional insurance experience includes engineering, consulting, brokering and management in senior and executive positions at insurance companies, risk management firms, and retail and wholesale brokerage companies. John started and led the environmental practice for a top 50 broker and as the Environmental Practice Leader developed several unique, complex environmental insurance programs that focused on environmental insurance and risk control.
John headed the tribunalization process and obtained coverholder status at Lloyd’s of London for a specialty wholesale insurance broker. John also led the process of creating and getting licensure for an agency captive specializing in reinsurance for environmental insurance products; and was instrumental in getting a reinsurance agreement in place between the captive and a major carrier front.
John is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Nuclear Power Engineering program. He has earned a BA in Finance with concentration in Insurance & Real Estate, an MBA, the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and the Associates in Risk Management (ARM) designation.
